HOW TO SELL YOUR MODEL TRAINS TO TEXAS MODEL TRAIN COLLECTIONS

Selling to Texas Model Train Collections is probably the more secure way to sell your trains. We always have a need for more new inventory.

We are an “O” gauge model train buyer/seller/trader.  There is no small or large collection that we will consider. Some of the best ways to sell your collection to Texas Model Train Collections is to follow the list below when you email us the list.

List of VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION NEEDED:

1. A list of the item number of the manufacture (Lionel, MTH, Atlas, etc)

2. Condition of the each item (Excellent, Good, Average, Poor, Parts)

3. Is the item in the original box (Yes or No)

4. What is the condition of the box (New, Damaged, Minor shelf wear, Stickers, missing flaps and/or with a lot of wear, falling apart)

5. Description (include all defects)

If possible, please put all this information in a spreadsheet format! Please be accurate with your information or it will just be a waste of everyone’s time too.

For Texas Model Train Collections to give you the best price, include at a minimum three (3) pictures of each item in a color format.  

Once Texas Model Train Collections receives the required inventory list, we will go thru the valuation process to determine the market value. Based on the maket value Texas Model Train Collections will make an offer based upon our market value.

If you accept our offered price to purchase then we will prepare a contract for purchase in turn will list the described items and purchase price. The delivery method will also be determined in the contract whether it is to be shipped, dropped off or picked up with any other special conditions.

Once Texas Model Train Collections has inventoried the collections then we will mail you the check.
